I am *LOVING* this book. For those of you who are in my home base, you probably heard me giggling all through SSR. Yes, this book is that funny!! This book is the first in a series about the confessions of Georgia Nicolson, and it’s written by Louise Rennison. Just to give you a preview here’s what’s on the first page. Now, remember, I’m not plagiarizing because I’m giving the author full credit and I am not claiming that any of this is my idea. Understand?

Very wrong with my life:

I have one of those under the skin spots that will never come to a head but lurk in a red way for the next two years.

I have a three year old sister who may have peed in my room.

In fourteens days the summer hols will be over and then it will be back to Stalag 14 and Oberfuhrer Frau Simpson and her bunch of sadistic “teachers.”

I went to a party dressed as a stuffed olive.

In another part of the book, Georgia’s friend, Ellen, talks about being kissed at a Christmas party, and Ellen describes the kiss as, “A bit on the wet side, like a sort of warm jelly feeling.”
